Our Client, A leading F & B Jordanian Company that produces its own original F & B and hospitality Concepts, is looking to hire Cost Controller  to be based in Amman – Jordan and reports to GM

 

Job Summary :

 

Control and monitor total expenditure for each outlet including verifying and revenue as per invoices and claims from suppliers and vendors to ensure that all expenditures are captured and properly recorded

 

Duties and Responsibilities :

 

  1. Provide planning and cost controlling support for all outlets which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress.
  2. Perform budget analysis for long term forecasting and planning.
  3. Supervise the material/supplies consumption reports.
  4. Ensure effective utilization to generate productive reports from the system to monitor the status of all purchases, invoicing and deliver.
  5. Prepare monthly movement report for the monitoring of the outlets' activities on a daily basis and register all consumptions and report related issues pertaining to the outlet promptly to the chef/manager in charge and the management.
  6. Coordinate and work with the operations manager to resolve consumption issues to ensure efficient use of supplies.
  7. Perform costing related reporting to the team and management’s review on a monthly basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the forecasted budget.
  8. Provide cost control and planning advice to the internal team as and when required.
  9. Any other task assigned by the direct manager/supervisor.

 

Requirements :

 

  1. BCs. degree in Accounting, Finance or any related field with 2-4 years of experience in related work
  2. Arabic: Excellent, English: Excellent.
  3. Good knowledge in Microsoft Office
  4. Follow up and monitoring skills
  5. Good knowledge in financial reports
  6. Cost control skills
  7. Analytical and problem solving skills
  8. Good knowledge in market and budgeting skills
  9. Strategic planning and leadership skills
  10. Ability to manage multiple tasks, organize priorities, and meet deadlines

Key performance Indicators:

 

  1. Timely completion for journal and ledger entries.
  2. Timely reporting for the periodical reports.
