Job Purpose
To lead the national and regional sales and marketing operations, ensuring that the company’s product portfolio (food/beverage) achieves maximum distribution, sales growth, and brand visibility while managing the P&L.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop long- and short-term sales plans and marketing strategies based on competitor analysis and market trends.
• Commercial & Financial Strategy: Manage P&L, set annual budgets, and implement pricing strategies that optimize profitability and margin.
• Marketing & Brand Growth: Oversee marketing campaigns, brand positioning, and product launches to improve market presence in Jordan and neighboring markets.
• Customer & Distributor Relations: Manage key retail accounts, modern trade, traditional trade, and distributor networks. Negotiate contracts and Joint Business Plans (JBPs).
• Operations Oversight: Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, and distribution efficiency to ensure 24-hour response times to customer inquiries.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor sales, marketing, and trade marketing teams to achieve performance targets.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Experience: 10+ years of proven sales and marketing leadership experience in the food/FMCG sector.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA is preferred.
• Local Market Expertise: Deep understanding of the Jordanian FMCG market, including modern and traditional trade dynamics.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM systems, data analysis (Excel/PowerPoint), and revenue growth management (RGM) tools.
• Competencies: Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and ability to work under pressure.
Key Competencies for Jordan Food Groups
• Languages: Excellent communication in both Arabic and English.
• Distributor Management: Experience in managing local and regional distributors effectively.
• Product Launches: Proven track record of launching new SKUs or product lines.
