Job Summary:

Responsible for managing and overseeing all production and administrative operations across the company’s manufacturing plants, ensuring they are executed according to approved standards, annual production plans, and allocated budgets, while improving workflow efficiency, maintaining food safety compliance, and achieving operational objectives.

 

Rules and Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage all production and administrative operations across all manufacturing plants, ensuring full compliance with approved standards and annual production plans.
  2. Oversee production planning and resource allocation, ensuring the availability of all operational requirements, including manpower, systems, equipment, and tools to maintain seamless workflow and operational continuity.
  3. Supervise production processes to ensure alignment with quality and food safety standards, and oversee the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
  4. Monitor factory performance against financial and production targets, evaluate progress, and recommend corrective actions to achieve annual objectives.
  5. Prepare and coordinate the factory’s annual budget, control operational costs, and submit periodic performance reports to management with improvement recommendations.
  6. Conduct regular field visits to all manufacturing sites to ensure compliance with food safety standards, occupational safety requirements, and approved work procedures.
  7. Oversee external audit activities to ensure the company maintains its certified food safety and quality systems.
  8. Manage employees within the manufacturing operations directorate, ensure they receive the required training, and evaluate the performance of department managers.
  9. Review reports from various departments, analyze data accurately, and identify areas for improvement by implementing effective corrective and preventive actions
  10. Set annual goals for the manufacturing operations directorate, develop operational plans, and monitor progress to ensure timely achievement with optimal quality.
  11. Supervise the research and development team, follow up on product innovation processes, and support the development of new products to improve customer satisfaction.
  12. Address operational risks by developing and implementing effective risk management strategies.
  13. Follow up on customer feedback related to product quality and food safety, ensure proper investigation of lab results, and verify that corrective and preventive actions are applied.
  14. Perform any additional duties related to the job that may be assigned by the direct manager.

Responsibilities Against Food Safety Policy:

comply with and contribute to the implementation of the company’s food safety and general safety policies and procedures, according to job scope.

  7. Solid understanding of food safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  8. Ability to manage risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  9. Strong auditing skills and experience with internal and external inspections.
  10. Proficiency in computers and relevant work systems.
  11. Ability to travel as required by business needs.

Required Competencies:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Food Processing

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience

Training courses: ISO 22000 /FSSC 22000 /ISO 17025 /Management Skills /Leadership Skills
