Overview:

Setting strategic partnerships, identify new market opportunities, and lead initiatives to expand the e-wallet's user base and services within the country and potentially the region. This role requires a strong understanding of digital payments, strategic planning, strong negotiation skills, relationship management, and experience in the fintech ecosystem in Jordan and the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnership & Synergy:

Identify, negotiate, and establish key partnerships with businesses and organizations to integrate services and create synergistic opportunities that drive user adoption and revenue growth for the e-wallet.

Market Expansion & Growth:

Develop and execute strategies to acquire new users, increase engagement within existing customer segments, and expand the e-wallet's reach into new markets and demographics.

Product & Service Innovation:

Collaborate with product development teams to identify market needs and opportunities, leading to the design and launch of new features, services, and business models to enhance the e-wallet's offerings.

Business Development Strategy:

Create and implement a comprehensive business development plan, setting and achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual targets, and providing regular reports on progress.

Market Analysis & Intelligence:

Conduct ongoing market analysis, including competitor assessment and understanding customer needs, to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions.

Account Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients and partners, ensuring high satisfaction levels and identifying further opportunities for growth within these relationships.

Stakeholder Management:

Effectively communicate and build consensus with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, partners, and potential clients, to gain cooperation and advance strategic goals.

Financial Acumen:

Possess strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities to support deal origination, structuring, and the financial viability of new partnerships and initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; an MBA or relevant professional certification is preferred.

Experience:

10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, with a significant portion of that experience in the fintech, digital payments, e-wallet, or e-commerce sectors.

Jordanian Market Expertise:

Deep understanding of the fintech landscape and regulations in Jordan and the wider Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Leadership & Management:

Proven ability to lead and manage teams, foster collaboration, and drive successful outcomes.

Negotiation & Communication:

Excellent negotiation, influencing, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

 Strategic Thinking:

Strong strategic and conceptual thinking, with the ability to develop and execute long-term plans.

Relationship Building:

Exceptional relationship management skills to build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Adaptability:

Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment, with a high tolerance for ambiguity and change.
