Our client is a leading Jordanian company aims to provide cold and hot foods and beverages effortlessly, tastefully and hygienically through the highest-end Italian and Spanish manufactured vending machines, is looking for General Accountant to be based in Amman – Jordan and reports to Financial & Administrative Manager

Title: General Accountant

Report to: Financial & Administrative Manager

Location: Amman – Jordan

Working Hours: from Sat to Thursday 8.00 am to 5.00 pm

Joining date: ASAP

Main duties & responsibilities:

Follow up on receivables and payables and ensure the accuracy of accounts
Executing bank reconciliation operations and preparing account statements
Ensure compliance with local accounting and tax standards
Handling invoices, payments and salaries in coordination with the financial department
Collecting cash from vending machines, counting cash and depositing it in the bank
Carrying out cash matching operations for the amounts received from vending machines and matching them with financial reports
Any other tasks assigned to him in accordance with the requirements of the work

Requirements:

BA in accounting or relevant discipline
Minimum 2-3 years experience
Very good in Excel
Good command of English and excellent communication Skills
