Job Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced and visionary General Manager to lead overall business operations, drive growth, and ensure profitability. The GM will be responsible for developing strategic plans, managing day-to-day functions across departments, optimizing performance, and building strong teams aligned with company goals. This role requires strong leadership, business acumen, and the ability to deliver measurable results.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Strategic & Financial Leadership:

  • Develop and execute long-term business strategies in alignment with corporate goals
  • Lead annual budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting processes
  • Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures
  • Ensure sustainable profit margins and revenue growth

 Operational Oversight:

  • Supervise all day-to-day operations across sales, service, logistics, finance, HR, and administration
  • Ensure high levels of operational efficiency and service delivery
  • Establish and enforce internal processes, SOPs, and quality control systems
  • Oversee inventory management and procurement efficiency (if applicable)
  • Lead digital transformation and systems optimization (ERP, CRM, etc.)

Sales & Marketing Leadership:

  • Drive business development and customer acquisition strategies
  • Oversee B2B and B2C sales performance, ensuring achievement of sales targets
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align campaigns with sales goals and brand strategy
  • Expand into new markets, territories, or product lines as needed

Team & Culture Development:

  • Recruit, train, and lead high-performing teams across departments
  • Define KPIs and performance expectations for all department heads
  • Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and succession planning

 Compliance & Governance:

  • Ensure compliance with all local regulations, health & safety laws, and labor codes
  • Maintain high standards in internal controls and risk management
  • Oversee all external audits, legal contracts, and government reporting

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and partners
  • Handle major customer escalations and resolve critical issues promptly
  • Represent the company in industry events, exhibitions, and negotiations
  • Provide strategic updates and reports to the CEO or Board of Directors

Qualifications & Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 in a GM or Director-level role
  • Strong knowledge of operations, finance, sales, and strategic planning
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience managing P&L and driving profitability
  • Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus)
  • Experience in [Automotive, Cars-Trading] preferred
