Purpose of the role:

Administrative and executive supervision of the work of the department. Finding tools and mechanisms that contribute to the strategic planning and strategic plans in the bank, supervising financial feasibility studies and market studies that help the bank's working centers to formulate policies and strategies in a way that meets the bank's strategy in developing its Business Banking Operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise the preparation of the operational plans of the department in accordance with meeting the bank's strategic requirements, supervise and follow up the progress of the department's work plan and correct any deviations first-hand.
    2. Manage the process of preparing the strategic plan of the Bank in light of the strategic directions of the Board of Directors and the Executive Management.
    3. Coordinate and participate with the departments and work centers of the Bank in the process of preparing and following up on their strategic and operational plans.
    4. Study global, regional and local economic changes, prepare a summary of them, and study the extent of their impact on the bank and its strategic plans.
    5. Supervising the SWOT ANAYLSIS analysis processes by analyzing the bank's internal environment and the external environment to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to be taken into account when formulating goals.
    6. Supervising the preparation of the study of the bank's situation and comparing it with the banking sector and indicating the bank's position from the banking system.
    7. Coordinate with all departments and work centers in the bank to prepare their operational plans, through which the means and procedures will be determined to achieve the objectives of the plan within a time frame.
    8. Supervise the preparation of a periodic report to follow up the achievements of operational plans to ensure the achievement of objectives, so that what is achieved and the reasons for non-achievement are determined and appropriate solutions are proposed.
    9. Review the financial studies prepared by the department's employees and recommend them to the higher administrative level.
    10. Supervise the process of preparing market studies and preparing their recommendations.
    11. Provide the bank's management with the feasibility studies required from the bank, whether to open, modernize or transfer branches.
    12. Participate in the preparation of the Bank’s annual report, including writing the speech of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, the administrative and operational achievements of the bank (at the level of departments and business sectors), and the most prominent future strategic objectives and social responsibility.
    13. Participate with the relevant authorities in the bank in preparing policies that govern the course of work, especially those related to financial and analytical matters within the work of the department.

14. Directly supervise the reports of the Asset and Liability Management Committee (ALCO) and arrange for meetings.
15. Ensure that the daily operations in the department are carried out in accordance with the approved policies and procedures.
16. Supervising the setting of goals for the department's employees in conjunction with the heads of the affiliated units, supervising them administratively, evaluating their performance and distributing vacations to ensure the efficient workflow.
17. Review and respond to the reports of internal and external auditors related to the work of the department and follow up on addressing problems and observations radically to prevent their recurrence in the future.
18. Participate in the executive management committees according to the relevant assignments and in accordance with the instructions of the regulatory authorities.
19. Communicate with stakeholders in the regional administration in the field of strategic planning.
20. Any other tasks assigned to him by COO of the bank.

- Authorities concerned with the availability and communication of information, such as the Central Bank, the Association of Banks, and others.

 Job Holder Qualifications:

Required Academic & Professional Qualification:

First university degree in accounting, financial and banking sciences, finance, economics or any related discipline.
Professional Certifications Required:

It is preferable to have specialized professional certificates such as the CMA management accountant certificate.

Required Work Experience:

Experience (12) years in the field of accounting and planning, and experience is required (5) years in financial analysis and strategic planning

Professional knowledge required:

Knowledge in analysis and planning and the ability to link data, conclude and come up with results and recommendations that serve the decision maker

Required Skills:

- GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTER PROGRAMS APPLICATION MS OFFICE
- Good knowledge of English and Arabic, reading and writing - the ability to present and deliver
- Ability to manage, communicate and deal with others
