Focused on delivering high-impact advisory services to clients across the GCC region and specializing in market research, feasibility studies, financial modeling, and managerial consultancy. Further, we will be working with international and regional players at different capacities such as business incubators, business managers, regional offices etc…

Position Purpose

The Senior Consultant leads end-to-end advisory engagements and converts complex client questions into clear, evidence-based recommendations. The role combines project leadership, feasibility and market analysis, financial modeling, client management, and business development. As a senior member of the founding Amman team, the role also helps establish the firm's delivery standards, tools, talent, and knowledge base.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

1. Engagement and Client Leadership

 Lead consulting engagements from initial scoping and proposal through analysis, recommendation, presentation, and close-out.

 Translate client objectives into clear workplans, analytical frameworks, deliverables, milestones, and decision points.

 Serve as the day-to-day senior client contact; manage expectations, facilitate workshops, resolve issues, and maintain trusted relationships.

 Manage scope, timelines, project budgets, risks, dependencies, and change requests while maintaining delivery quality.

2. Feasibility Studies and Business Cases

 Lead comprehensive feasibility studies covering market, commercial, operational, financial, regulatory, and risk dimensions.

 Define assumptions, evaluate strategic options, test project viability, and convert analysis into practical recommendations.

 Coordinate technical, legal, tax, and sector specialists where specialist input is required.

 Prepare investment cases, implementation roadmaps, and decision papers for owners, boards, investors, and financing stakeholders.

3. Financial Modeling and Commercial Analysis

 Build and review robust financial models, including integrated forecasts, cash flows, DCF valuations, project finance models, and scenario analyses.

 Assess revenue drivers, cost structures, capital requirements, funding assumptions, working capital, profitability, and returns.

 Apply sensitivity, break-even, NPV, IRR, payback, and risk analysis appropriate to each assignment.

 Maintain transparent assumptions, checks, audit trails, and model documentation suitable for senior client review.

4. Market Research and Strategic Insight

 Design and oversee primary and secondary research across sectors and GCC markets.

 Analyze market size, growth, customer demand, competitor positioning, pricing, channels, regulations, and entry barriers.

 Lead interviews, surveys, expert discussions, and stakeholder consultations when required.

 Synthesize qualitative and quantitative evidence into clear implications, choices, and recommendations.

5. Reports and Executive Communication

 Develop concise, logically structured reports, proposals, investment memoranda, and executive presentations.

 Present findings and recommendations confidently to senior executives, investors, and other decision-makers.

 Ensure all deliverables are accurate, consistent, evidence-based, and ready for client use.

6. Team Leadership and Quality Assurance

 Lead, coach, and review the work of Consultants, Financial Analysts, and Market Researchers assigned to engagements.

 Allocate work effectively, provide structured feedback, and build capability in analysis, modeling, research, and client communication.

 Apply disciplined quality reviews to data, calculations, models, reports, and presentations

before client submission.

 Promote collaboration, professional judgment, confidentiality, and accountability across the team.

7. Business Development and Firm Building

 Identify opportunities in GCC markets and contribute to account development, proposal writing, pricing, pitches, and follow-up.

 Build relationships with clients, partners, experts, and ecosystem stakeholders that can support the firm's growth.

 Develop reusable methodologies, templates, sector knowledge, benchmarks, and quality standards for the Amman delivery hub.

 Support recruitment, onboarding, and the continuous improvement of the firm's consulting operations and culture.

Key Performance Indicators

 Engagements delivered on time, within agreed scope and budget, and to the required quality standard.

 Client satisfaction, repeat assignments, referrals, and strength of senior stakeholder relationships.

 Accuracy, transparency, and decision usefulness of financial models, research, and recommendations.

 Proposal quality, opportunity conversion, pipeline contribution, and revenue supported or originated.

 Effective project economics, resource utilization, risk management, and issue resolution.

 Development of team capability, reusable knowledge assets, and firm delivery standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Required Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, or a closely related field.

 Minimum eight years of progressive experience in management consulting, advisory, corporate finance, strategy, market research, or feasibility studies, including at least five years in consulting and demonstrated responsibility for leading client engagements.

 Proven experience delivering feasibility studies, financial models, business cases, valuations, market assessments, and executive-level reports.

 Demonstrated experience managing clients, project teams, timelines, budgets, and multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

 MBA or relevant master's degree.

 Experience serving GCC clients or working within GCC market environments is strongly preferred.

 Professional certification such as CFA, CMA, FMVA, PMP, or an equivalent credential is an advantage.

Required Knowledge and Skills

Technical and Analytical Capability

 Advanced financial modeling and Excel capability, with strong command of valuation, forecasting, scenario analysis, and investment appraisal.

 Strong market-research skills, including research design, data validation, market sizing, competitor analysis, and insight synthesis.

 Excellent PowerPoint, report-writing, and executive-presentation skills.

 Sound commercial judgment and the ability to connect financial, market, operational, and strategic perspectives.

Professional and Client Leadership Capability

 Strong project-management, problem-solving, negotiation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

 Full professional proficiency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.

 Proficiency with data-visualization, research databases, or business-intelligence tools is an advantage.

 Willingness to travel within the GCC when required by client engagements.
